While the medicinal properties of Fungi have
been known to researchers for decades, and have supplied man with
vital drugs, much of the modern world has little knowledge of their

Fomentarius, the "Ice Man Fungus", one of three mushrooms found on
Otzi, A man frozen in ice over 5200 years ago, recently discovered
in the Swedish alps. This mushroom has been used medicinally
for thousands of years. It is a mushroom common to Maine.
